Here are some basic tips and instructions beheading your
doll for re-rooting or adding streaks.
THE TOOLS
I use a letter opener, any type of tool like it is ok as long as
it is NOT sharp, it will cut the vinyl!
Work from the back of the head. This way if the vinyl gets cut,
it won't show like it would if it was under the chin!
Insert and LIFT the tool over the "safety tabs."
This will take some doing, but work with it.
Go slow and easy.
AAHhhhhhh..the FIRST tab!

OPPSEE.....My Bad!
You can barely see the tab in this pix,
but it IS over that tab, you only can do one
at a time, it will pop over the other.
Not to worry!
Now just pop the head off!
REMOVE THEM!!!!
This way if you need to remove the head again,
it will be much easier!
ALWAYS do re-rooting, streaks, or curls BEFORE
you paint!!
Now that wasn't so bad was it?!
YEAH RIGHT!!!!
