Crimping Hair, easier then you thought! 

PART #1

THE TOOLS!

Small elastics, gel and a comb. Use clear elastics, colored ones will stain the lighter colored hairs!

All you do is braid the hair LOTS of tiny braids!

Use the gel to keep the 'fly-aways' under control. Just a drop or two on your hands is fine!

This how your doll will look after she is braided!

PART #2

Place the head in a bowl of hot water, let it stay until the water cools.  Now is the time to add liquid fabric softener, just a few drops! Once the water is cool place her in the sitting position to dry, either by air or in front of a small fan. 

Tyler and Sydney takes hot water just under a boil. These dolls hair are much harder to set.

PART #3 

The Comb out!

Gel, pick and the victim!

Put some gel 'tween your fingers and run it down the braid. 

Everyone as you go along. This way the hair will NOT get frizzy!

Slowly pick them apart, the thinner the strands the better. This adds volume and sizes in proportion to the doll.

NOW the hair cut! 

Cut hair on a downward angle, this will give layers and lots of volume!
